Bhagawān Narasimha is a fierce avatar of Sri Mahāvishnu, incarnated for the sake of ardent bhaktās at the request of Mahābhakta Prahlāda to destroy evil, end religious harassment and calamity, thereby restoring Dharma.
Particularly in Kaliyuga, exactly in the times like the present, all the bhaktās have a powerful weapon called Nāma Sankeerthana or chanting His Nāma uncompromisingly. That shall surely invoke His cosmic energy and destroys the evil which is exhibited by some people by mind, thought and action be it Corona virus, attack on places of worship, harassing the highly knowledgeable traditional sections of the society, those who are creating intentional religious discord, those by corruption spoiling the well structured system of the Rājya (State or Nation) and punishes those who willfully create havoc and panic in the peace loving society.
We celebrate Narasimha Jayanthi in the evening pradosha kala today. If not already, all the youth and children must initiate themselves into the divine chanting from 6.15 pm today not only in their personal interests but also for the society in which they are going to live long.
This is what exactly Parama Bhāgavatha Prahlāda has shown us the path, the simplest one ever. Even the power of Hanumān is his relentless chanting of “Rāma” nāma. By doing so, every one of us can become a Prahlāda and Hanumān to defeat the evil we are facing, that’s precisely the Shakti of Nāma.
Essentially, we require at the moment, the collective power of the Nāma to come out of the crisis and save lives.
