Gāyathri Japam – Jandhyāla (Shrāvana) Purnima

Brāhmin youth is our force to propagate the community's sacred tradition, values and practices. Brāhmins made several sacrifices to rigorously learn the knowledge from Veda Sāstrās, Upanishads, Purānās, Bhāshyās, Tharka Meemāmsa Vyākaranās etc for the benefit of the entire mankind, said Srirāmapāda Bhāgavathar.

He was speaking on the auspicious occasion of Shrāvana Upākarma and Gāyathri Japam and said, in the present time and circumstances, Brahmins worldwide, are relentlessly conducting Yāgās, Ghana Veda Pārāyanās, Purāna Patanam, Bhagavat Gita Pārāyana Yajnās, Rudram - Prabandha Pārāyanās, Divine Kalyānotsavams, Gau Seva and Alaya Poojas, Nāma Sankeerthana, sharing their divine knowledge by way of discourses, serving selflessly the need and poor with food, groceries and medicines irrespective of caste, creed and religion in every nook and corner.

Srirāmapāda specifically brought to the knowledge of the people as to how the Brahmins were respected for several crore of years by the rulers and society at large. He further quoted and elaborated the meaning :

देवाधीनम् जगत सर्वं, मंत्राधीनाश्च देवता

ते मंत्रा ब्राह्मणाधीना, तस्मात् ब्राह्मण देवता

The universe is under the control of God, The God is under the control of Mantrās. Such Mantrās are under the control of Brāhmanās. Therefore, respecting and serving the Brahmanās keep the society in good spirits, progress and prosperity. This is precisely why the Brāhmins have been in worship from yugās by all the Rulers and therefore, all the temples are under the control of Brahmins. It is pertinent to say, those violated the Brāhmanās tasted the results and immediately returned to the holy practices on realization as we witness from various itihāsās and instances.

Srirāmapāda also stressed the need for Brahmin youth in doing Sandhya Vandanam everyday to have a life with continuous peace and prosperity. This will also create a divine atmosphere to kill the negative and evil energies within the society.

Srirāmapāda also invited the eligible Brahmins to contact him in case they want to learn Yajurveda Sandhya Vandanam, free of cost.

Caution :

Those who chant Gāyathri Mantra openly, who plays it in music system, listens to it will take birth as Brahma-Rākshasa. Therefore, only the eligible male to chant within.
